Hey Peter, great to hear from you. The next installment of AW has been long-gestating. We are a small company that got sidetracked on Gemini Division, along with our two upcoming webseries - Woke Up Dead and Valemont (both of which go into production in June/July.) Our hope is to have more AW, in a slightly altered form, available by year's end. Time will tell if that's possible...
As for DVD release, the show will be packaged in that form in some territories. Since Sony is distributing the project worldwide it's their decision, and I'm not sure what their plan is for Australia.
Best,
Brent
This update was in May last year ... seems we may never now what The Fall was all about, maybe one day the story will continue = Webyter 27th Jan 2010

I cannot tell you how happy I am to read this update. It's so good to know that at least the creator have "thought" about the thousands of fans who have varied between begging and cussing in frustration, asking for an update.
I feel a lot better now... even if it never returns. I just wish they would put this on the actually website or on the Youtube channel so that people would not be so upset. They have such a great product... one that is so great it creates an emotional response. It would be extremely disappointing if, for whatever reason, it could not continue.
is the levee breaks the final episode if not when will be the nxt episode of it shown i wanna kniw sir pls tell us
That’s looks so nice your posting.

Probably nothing though. It was stated on the Wikipedia page that Season 2 is coming in 2010, but it seems to have been removed.
You might want to fire off a mail to him again. :S
i was sooo looking forward to the second season been waiting for 2-3 years for it, plz plz plz revive this again!
you and me both, I have not mailed him for a while I have been hoping to hear from him, we may have to finish the story ourselves : 0
Well another six months have passed...it seems that Afterworld has moved to the Afterlife.
I haven't heard anything about either of the "other projects" that Brent mentions.
Such a bummer...this was one of the few series that really worked in the digital daily distribution model. It had the potential to really kick that model into high gear.
as the show is still airing somewhere in the world, I get the feeling that once it has finished its "slow world wide release or contractual obligation" that the producers or those that now hold an interest in the show will throw some money at it again and lets hope this time that it could be a sim-cast world wide release and we can rejoin the afterworld and once again follow Mr Showmaker on his strange journeys - good to hear from you Drew maybe we should continue the adventure here on this blog ...
I have an idea. if the creators of afterworld are discontinuing the series (as sad as that sounds), couldn't you all ask for permisson of making your own season 2.
and even if money was a problem, you guys could probably open up a donation area to get yourselfs funded (also I bet there's at least a few apprentice 3d designers out there who'd be willing to help as well as music artist's).
